My hobby(science)

Hi guys!!!i am going to tell you what is my favourite things when it comes to science...guess???Its watching videos!!!i like going to bing msn and watch short documentary clips about animals as it always amuse me when there are shows like top 10 most dangerous/small...etc animals videos like this cool one below
Check out this great MSN Video: Top 10 Deadliest Creatures
COOL???At least you now know which animal is more dangerous than another and you will be surprise that it is normally the insects who top the table. You know what, this hobby of mine has really improved my knowledge of animals and i know many more facts than others like the taipan snake is the most venomous snake etc and it is quite useful for me and my ambition if you refer to the previous post,i want to be a wildlife biologist and this will also help to make me more interested in this area of nature.I love animals and i want to be with them and their natural habitat next time.So to end this post...watch this video:)

my ambition:)

most people will most likely be vets, doctors, businessmans, teachers etc when they grow up...but these jobs are so borrrrrrrrringgggggg...After recent exposure with nature and my interests in docummentrys like anmial planets,i decided to be either a wildlife biologist or a zoologists that does fieldworks very often...that means i will be going to the amazon, the himalyons mount.,the north pole etc for research on animals and perhaps find ways to help them!!!wow that will be so interesting as my jobs will be like those people on animal planet whose job is so intersting and this does not invlove in sitting in borrrringggg offices all day long:)!!!However after doing some research...i realize that these jobs are useless in singapore...as such i may migrate to u.s where this jobs are much more relevant. To realize my dreams,i understand that i must work hard.As such my current plan is to study like mad so i can go to cse and go to the science and maths programme where i will learnt subjects essential to this job...so i pray hard that i will be able to do so and i wish myself ggod luck:p

sabbatical:)

hi everyone!!!today i will be sharing with you my sabbatical experience. My sabt. is art in nature and although it does not have the word science in it,it is much related to science. There were 2 guided toursto the sunegh buloh...and i love that place.I saw crocs, otters, crabs, mudskippers, some rare migratory birds, snakes and loads more. This is related to bio. and diversity. There are many boards in thee place which share infos with us like how to spot differnt birds as now,it is the migrating season which means that many rare birds(occasionally large eagles and even condors!!!:0)the guided tour was very good as i learnt a lot from it like i learn that at the entrance of the place, there are 2 trees, the sonneratia caseolaris and the chandrons spataacca. You know what, these plants are extrmely rare and you can only find about 3 of them each in singapore. One of them was even thought to be extinct untill the 1998 where it was found at sunei butogh.I learn the=at mangroves are very great plants despite its ugly looks...most mangroves have antiboitic elements in its leaves and it is able to cure sickness like ulcers, sorethroat, fight infections and even help you to get a better skin tan when you apply them!!!Some mangrove fruits even edible and are healthy and can work as medicines. As such,i learnt that mangroves are so important in the world we learn in and i learn many scientific facts in the sabt.!!!:):):)

overview of term 3 science lessons

hi everyone,to day i will be talking about term 3.I fell that in term 3,i did learn as much as the other terms as many of the term 3 subjects has been covered in primary school like photosynthesis, respiration etc. However,it was a slightly more elaborated than primary school.I also feel that this term, there were many events that prevented us from doing lab activities which is very fun and engaging. As such,i dont think that term 3 was a very meaningful term for science despite me learning quite a bit though:)
